Ho (Ti Lung), a former Triad counterfeiter, is caught in a deadly pursuit when his police officer brother Kit (Leslie Chung) and his former counterfeiting partner Mark (Chow Yun-Fat) go after the vicious Triad boss that used to be Ho’s protege. What follows is an all guns blazing tear through the streets of Hong Kong that will test the laws of physics, the bounds of brotherhood, and Ho’s deep desire for redemption. A BETTER TOMORROW marks action maestro John Woo’s first pairing with actor Chow Yun-fat and his first Hong Kong set action film, and the film would go on to set the template for the style of Hong Kong action cinema.
